The APC Smart-UPS SMT3000RMI2UC provides backup power for servers, network switches, routers and other important equipment. Its 2U chassis fits a server rack, while 2700W of active power supports several connected devices within the UPS’s total load limit.
Key benefits
- Pure sine-wave output for compatible equipment.
- AVR automatically regulates fluctuating incoming voltage.
- The LCD panel shows UPS status and key operating information.
- Rack hardware and support rails are included in the manufacturer’s package.
Connections and management
The rear panel has 8 IEC C13 outlets and 1 IEC C19 outlet, with an IEC C20 power inlet. USB and serial connections support local management. The SmartConnect Ethernet port enables remote monitoring within the available service features, and SmartSlot supports compatible expansion. IEC jumper cables do not add extra outlets.

Battery and backup time
An internal 48V lead-acid battery module provides backup power. The compatible replacement is APC RBC43. The manufacturer specifies a typical recharge time of approximately 3 hours.
Backup time depends on the connected load, battery charge, battery condition and temperature. A VA rating alone does not determine runtime in minutes. Size the UPS against the equipment’s combined wattage and the reserve capacity you need.
Core package contents
- UPS with internal battery
- Rack brackets, mounting hardware and support rails
- USB and Ethernet cables
- IEC jumper cables and user documentation
Important considerations
Availability of SmartConnect remote features depends on service terms and the selected plan. A separate network management card is not listed as part of the core package.
Warranty: 12 months.
