The Dell PowerEdge R660xs is a 1U rack server for business applications and server infrastructure. This configuration includes two Intel Xeon Silver 4514Y processors with a combined 32 cores and 64 threads in the 16-core processor profile. It has 64 GB of DDR5 ECC RDIMM memory across two dual-rank 32 GB modules.

The storage subsystem includes two 480 GB SATA Read Intensive SSDs rated at 1 DWPD and a PERC H755 SAS Front controller. The combined raw drive capacity is 960 GB; usable capacity depends on the RAID configuration. The chassis accommodates up to eight 2.5-inch SAS/SATA drives.

Two onboard Broadcom 5720 1GbE ports provide network connectivity, while iDRAC9 Enterprise 16G enables remote administration. Dual 700 W Titanium hot-plug power supplies provide 1+1 redundancy and require 200–240 V AC input. A PowerEdge 1U standard front bezel and A11 combo rails without a cable-management arm are included.
