Where it fits

For indoor Wi-Fi deployment in an office, shop or home, with wall or ceiling mounting and wired network uplink. The 2.5 Gigabit input is useful when the upstream network and clients can take advantage of higher speeds.

Wireless and management

Supports 160 MHz channels, MLO, OFDMA, MU-MIMO and WPA3. Configuration is available through the web interface or Cudy App. Central management of several access points requires a separate compatible Cudy AP Controller. Access Point and Wi-Fi Router modes are supported.

Installation and compatibility

Connect the Ethernet network to PoE In. For PoE power, use a compatible PoE source on that port. Optional 12 V DC power connects to the separate DC jack, not to an Ethernet port. The AP3600_P package includes a 48 V passive-PoE adapter, Ethernet cable, mounting kit and installation guide. A separate 12 V DC adapter is not included and is unnecessary when using the supplied PoE adapter. Before powering another device from PoE Out, verify its required voltage, PoE standard and power budget; a PoE Out label alone does not establish compatibility.

Performance limits

Operates on 2.4 and 5 GHz; there is no 6 GHz band. Wi-Fi 7 features such as MLO require compatible client hardware and software. Listed wireless rates are theoretical link rates, not guaranteed Internet or file-transfer speeds. Actual performance depends on the client, uplink, interference and placement.
