Privacy Policy
This policy explains how the shop.tectronis.am online store collects, uses, stores and transfers personal data. The data controller is TECTRONIS LLC, Tax ID 03581109.
1. Data we process
We may process your name, surname, email, phone number, billing and delivery details, order contents and history, account data, messages and support requests. For orders placed on behalf of a legal entity, we may also process the company name, tax ID and VAT payer status.
For secure operation of the site we may process the IP address, device and browser technical data, language, date, visited page and technical logs of sign-ins and actions. We do not ask you to send passwords, card numbers or CVV codes in messages.
2. Purposes and legal bases
We process data to accept and fulfil orders, operate accounts and carts, arrange delivery and payment, provide warranty and after-sales support, answer enquiries, prevent fraud and comply with accounting and tax duties. The legal bases are entering into and performing a contract, compliance with law, your consent and the Company’s legitimate interest in the security of the site and transactions.
3. Data sources and Google sign-in
Most data is obtained directly from you when you create an account, place an order or send an enquiry. If you choose Google sign-in, Google transmits only the data you approve in its permissions window. Use of Google is also governed by Google’s terms and privacy policy.
4. Cookies and local storage
The site uses strictly necessary cookies and session data for sign-in, the cart, language and security functions. Wishlist and comparison lists may be stored locally in your browser and can be cleared through its settings. Analytics or advertising cookies are not used without appropriate notice and, where required by law, consent.
5. Who may receive data
Access is limited to staff and suppliers who need the data for their work. They may include hosting and email providers, WordPress/WooCommerce infrastructure, Google when sign-in is used, delivery companies, banks and accounting or technical contractors. They process data for the agreed purpose and subject to applicable confidentiality and security obligations.
6. Transfers to other countries
Some technical suppliers may process data outside Armenia. Such transfers are limited to what is necessary for the service and take place with consent, an adequate level of protection or other lawful safeguards required by the Law of the Republic of Armenia on Protection of Personal Data.
7. Retention periods
Order, payment and accounting records are retained for the periods required by tax and accounting law and applicable limitation periods. Account data is kept while the account is active and deleted or anonymised on request unless the law requires retention. Support correspondence is normally kept for up to 3 years after the matter is closed, and security logs normally for up to 12 months, unless an incident investigation or law requires longer retention.
8. Your rights
You may request information about processing, access to your data, correction of inaccurate data and, where provided by law, blocking, deletion or cessation of processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. You may lodge a complaint with the authorised personal data protection body of the Republic of Armenia or a court.
9. Security and contact
We use reasonable organisational and technical measures to reduce the risk of unauthorised access, loss or alteration, but no internet transmission can be guaranteed absolutely secure.
